

Barbara “Barb” Ann Armstrong, 80, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on August 17, 2024. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on August 11, 1944 to George Q. Roschetzky and Lillie (Plachy) Roschetzky. She married Richard (Dick) Armstrong on March 3, 1973.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend with a generous heart, who cherished her family and friends. One could not miss her infectious laugh and radiant smile. She was a dedicated employee for over 20 years at Alaska Butcher Supply. She was known for her quick wit and great comebacks and always fun to be around. Barbara loved Alaska, and country music and you could usually catch her swaying to the music with her walker. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten and will live forever in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Armstrong; father, George Q. Roschetzky; mother, Lillie Roschetzky; daughter, Christy Still Simmons; sister, Georgie Gunn; brother, Carl (Carolyn) Roschetzky; and grandson, Tyler Thompson.
Barbara is survived by son, James (Quevetta) Thompson; sisters, Margie (James) Dittlinger, Linda (Freddie) Seaquist; and brother, Fred (Tony) Roschetzky; grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Rachel Thompson, King Robert Still, Quentin Still, and Zachary Simmons; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Butch and Barb Hawley, Lela Roschetzky Collins, and Judy Brown and to New Century Hospice nurses, Sarah and Dalicia, for the wonderful care given to Barbara during these last few months.
