She married Billy, the love of her life, on March 13, 1957. Their love endured a lifetime, and there is comfort in knowing they are together again in eternal peace. Barbara was a loving wife, Mama, Grandmama and Gigi.
She was an Avon Lady for more than 40 years, spending most of her earnings on gifts for family and friends! She loved baking and decorating cookies with her grandchildren, who she always referred to as her Baby Angels. She made beautiful cakes for all of their birthdays and some of their friends’ birthdays.
She especially loved the holidays and spent a lifetime creating cherished memories with the people she loved. She also loved trips to Las Vegas with her husband, family and friends where she could spend hours at a Let It Ride Table or video poker machine! Barbara will be remembered most for her love for her family, and for making friends feel like family.
She is survived by her four children: Jackie Rominski (Gary Brainard), Barbara Jean Elliott (Joe), Jerry Jo Largin (Billy), and Eddy Ross (Natasha); four grandchildren: Meredith Hood (Jared), Grant Eddins (Jamie), Greg Rominski and Kyler Ross; and four great-grandchildren: James, Julia, Anna Grace and Catherine Hood. She will also be missed by countless nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Viera Assisted Living for the loving care they provided up to the very end.

A Funeral Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411, US, on September 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Committal Service will follow at Memory Gardens, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, US, on September 11, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
