Beatrice Valdez, age 90, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on July 1, 2019. She was born in Sharyland, Texas on June 28, 1929. She was married to Joe Valdez.

Beatrice had a career as a Dietician for Lyn Haven Nursing Home for many years. She had a passion for music and loved dancing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paulino Davila and Delfina (Garcia) Davila; husband, Joe Valdez; son, George Valdez and grandson, Chuck Valdez.

She is survived by her children: Joe Valdez, Diana Gutierrez and Jimmy Valdez. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Jessica Valdez, Idalia Gutierrez, and Bridgette Valdez. Beatrice leaves behind many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren; sister, Lupe Martinez (Nick).

Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm on July 3, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
