Benita N Sanchez

Benita A. Sanchez, 85, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on January 1, 2021. She was born in Goliad, Texas on April 3, 1935 to Florentino and Oralia Arranjo. She married Felipe Sanchez in 1948. Benita was a lifetime housewife and was devoted to her children. She was a member of Sinai Evangelistic. She had a passion for going to church, long walks, going out to eat and loved her bird, Lala. She is preceded in death by her parents, Florentino and Oralia Arranjo and her loving husband, Felipe S. Sanchez, Sr. She is survived by her children: Dominga (Richard) Gonzalez, Juana (Isabel) Guerrero, Margarito Sanchez, Santos Rodriguez, Maria Martinez, Benito (Elizebeth) Sanchez, Jose (Sylvia) Sanchez, Sara (Juan) Herrera, Felipe Sanchez, Jr., Reynaldo Sanchez and Frances (Hector) Lazo. She will be lovingly missed by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Benita is also survived by one sister, Dora Martinez. Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12:30 PM with Holy Rosary recited at 1:30. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
