

Bernardo Ayala, age 84, passed away with his beloved family at his side on December 16, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents Felipe and Emilia Ayala, infant son Bernardo Javier, beloved sister Clarita Vasquez, brothers, Jesus, Felipe Jr., Antonio, Panfilo, Macario, Benito and Roberto.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Hilda R. Ayala, son Juan de Dios (Tina) Ayala, daughters Grace (Joey) Garcia, Hilda (Edward) Galvan and Yolanda (Joe) Marruffo. Surviving grandchildren include Leslie Nicole (Adrian) San Miguel, Christie Victoria Garcia, Juan de Dios Ayala II, Mark Andrew Ayala, Sarah Megan Marruffo and great grandchildren Angela, Nina, Savanna and Aiden, who affectionately called him Popo. Other surviving members include sisters and brothers - in-law, nieces and nephews.
Bernardo worked 25 years at Corn Products, after his retirement, he started his business in auto sales.

Rosary and mass will be held at 12 noon on December 22, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3350 South Alameda, Corpus Christi, Texas.
