Bertha R Galvan

Bertha R Galvan, a kind-hearted and generous soul, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on April 8, 1936, Bertha was a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. Her life was marked by a happy disposition and a great listening ear, qualities that endeared her to many.

In her early life, Bertha worked in retail at Kmart. She had a passion for family time, cherishing moments spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Some of her favorite memories included talking, visiting casinos, and enjoying breakfast with loved ones. Bertha was most known for her kind heart, happiness, generosity, and her ability to listen attentively.

Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, her great-grandchild baby Texas, and her husband Lionel Galvan. She is survived by her children Belinda Gutierrez, Lionel Galvan Jr., and Linda Rodriguez; her brothers, Raul Rodriguez; and her sisters, Lisa (Lala) Ruth, Rosie Conrad (Floyd), and Janie Hall (Ray). She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, located at 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX, on December 29, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will be recited at the same venue on December 29, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm. Continued visitation will take place on December 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a religious ceremony from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Bertha's life was a testament to love, joy, and the importance of family, and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
