Billy Wesley Sanders

Being born into a multigenerational farming family, Billy loved farming and was an accomplished farmer in Corpus Christi his entire life. Billy was in the Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War. His Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren brought him much joy.

Billy is preceded in death by: his parents Benjamin Wessley Sanders and Mary Audrey Lambert Sanders; his sisters Mary Georgia (Wilburn) Pippins of Beeville, Texas, Mary Francis (Harvey) Richardson, and Peggy Jean (Joe) Lennert of Corpus Christi, Texas; his brother Jim Sanders of Calallen; and his son Bill Sanders.

Left to cherish his memory are Robbie Sanders, one sister-in-law Margaret Sanders, and three daughters Karen (David) Kocian, Janet (Steve) Smith, and Stephanie Baulcheck, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. We loved him and will miss him but are comforted that he has been reunited with his heavenly family.

A public visitation for Billy will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 8:30 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A prayer service will occur Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
