Blanche M. Aucoin

Blanche was an Operating Room Technician until she retired at the age of 72. Her life was filled with excitement and adventure as she travelled with her family and husband for business having lived in Peru, Trinidad and Malaysia. She also was a Cub Scout Den Mother, loved art and crafts, loved playing Bingo and loved crabbing.

Blanche was born on January 10, 1927 in Weeks Island, LA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Blanche Guillotte and father, James LeBlanc, four sisters, her husband, Hubert Aucoin and son Hubert Aucoin Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Blanche Holt and husband Chris, Jacque Sherrill and husband James, and her son, Thomas Aucoin and wife Carolyn. She had 7 grandchildren, Camille Hansen and husband Rob, Kasandra Smith and husband Dan, Kelsey Phillips and husband Scott, Kinsley Dyches and husband Brad, Kendall Sherrill and wife Elizabeth, Chance Lopez and wife Cassidy and Cheyenne LeBlanc. She also had fourteen great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd.
