Bobby Lee Byrd

Bobby Lee Byrd was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 20, 1931 and left this world in peace on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur W. Byrd and Z. Ruth Byrd, his wife Sarah Marie Byrd, and great granddaughter Sophia Marie Heath. He was a loving father to three sons, grandfather to four grandchildren and one great grandson.

He is survived by three sons; Ronald and his wife Virginia of Temple, Texas, Richard and his wife Patricia of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Russell and his wife Rosie of Apple Valley, California; granddaughters; Brandy and husband Rob of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Grace and husband Kirk of Altoona, Pennsylvania; grandsons; Ryan and wife Sharon of New York City, New York, and Lee and wife Jennifer of Corpus Christi, Texas; great grandson; Kirk Bradley of Altoona, Pennsylvania. He lived his life as a devout member of the Church of Christ.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas, (361) 265-9221. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
