Calistro retired as a heavy equipment operator from CCISD after 35 years of service. He will be dearly missed by his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Banda and Adela Lara Banda; 2 sisters and 1 brother. He is survived by his four children, Lisa (Leo) Banda, Roland Banda, Calistro (Katherine) Banda Jr. and Armando (Michelle) Banda; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and 3 sisters. Calistro is survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Chapel service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
