Jarvis and Betty lived near Carlos.  We are going to miss him.  He was a good neighbor and a very pleasant person. He kept his yard immaculate. We send our sympathy to his family.

I remember Carlos from my days working at IRS.  He was very pleasant to be around and he will be missed by us all. May God Provide his family with loving comfort and good memories.

I worked with Carlos at IRS.  He was extremely good at what he did and was respected for his knowledge and the quality of his work. He was always willing to share what he knew with others and assist them.  He was well liked by everyone.  He was polite, well-mannered, considerate, thoughtful, and had a good sense of humor.  I am glad that I had the opportunity to know and work with him.  We will all miss him very much.  I offer my sincere sympathy to his family.  I pray that God will give you comfort and strength during this very difficult time of loss.

Carlos and I were in the same IRS group in San Antonio for several years.  We got to know each very well.  We went to lunch often.  We were even on the same bowling team with mostly other IRS employees for several seasons.  We celebrated his retirement and saw each other several times over the years.  Carlos was one of several mentors to me in my career as I am still in the IRS.  Carlos taught me many a thing about the real world.  I often think of him and when I do it is with many thanks for what he has done for me and meant to me and with many a smile for all the times we shared  many laughs.  When we first met he told me "Gabe you are one of the youngest Agents."  Then when I saw him about a year ago during a lunch with several other retirees he said, "Gabe, now you are one of the oldest Agents."  Carlos was a good man, a good agent, and a great Friend.  I will miss him very much.  I hope I can make my mentor proud of me when my time comes to retire.  Please know Carlos meant a lot to me and his family will be in my prayers.

Carlos was a very private person, but he was always there with advice and help when you needed it.  He will solely missed. Carlos, we were all going to get together to celebrate your birthday on Dec 4th.  Instead, we will celebrate your life.
