Carmen Almazan

Carmen was married to Jose A. Almazan in 1962 in Brownsville, Texas.

Carmen was a CCD teacher at Holy Family Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros games with her family. Carmen also had a passion for gardening. She liked going to her grandchildren's events such as little league baseball games, performing in high school band and football games.

Carmen is preceded in death by her spouse, Jose A. Almazan, four brothers and four sisters.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Nelda (Frank) Aguilar and Bernice (Gabe) Lopez; grandchildren, Frankie Aguilar (Emily), Gabriel Lopez, Michael Lopez (Bethany) and Robert Aguilar. Great Grandchildren, Noah Anthony Aguilar, Amelia Elizabeth Aguilar, Jonathon Lopez, Aleena Lopez

A visitation for Carmen will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
