She was born on June 16, 1921 to the late Juan and Petra Gonzalez.
Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Julian R. Calderas, daughter, Nora A. Calderas and two great grandsons, Rene and Richard Calderas.
She leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, two sons, Julian Calderas Jr. and Rene (Laura) Calderas; grandchildren, Julian Calderas, Jina Calderas, Martha Calderas, Alfredo (Amy Filler) Calderas, Sara (Austin) Lovett and Esperanza (Colin) Richart; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with at a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
