Carmen M Saldana passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends at home. She was 95. Carmen was born in Rio Grande, Texas to Francisco and Adela Delgado Morales on February 12, 1918.
She has gone to join her granddaughter, Jessica Jean; daughter, Carmen and son, Amador Jr. in Heaven.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 74 years, Amador Saldana; 5 daughters; 2 sons; 38 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Angel Bright Hospice nurses and staff for their loving attention given to their mother. Carmen was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A Chapel service will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
