

She was born on July 24, 1926 to Juan and Maria Flores in Tampico, Tamaulipas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Andres, a sister, Amalia Barrientos, brother, Ismael Flores, sons-in-law Francisco S. Rosales and Roger Villarreal.
Carmen was a very humble person who cared about her family and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was proud of her children, their spouses and adored her grandchildren. She was the matriarch not only of her immediate family but also of her siblings and their families.
She is survived by six daughters, Maria (Manuel) Rosales, Luisa Rosales, Irma (Reynaldo) Reyna, Grace (Andy) Garza all of Corpus Christi, Diana Villarreal and Lillie (Michael) Rivera both of Orange Grove, three sons, Andres Ybanez, Rene (Deborah) Ybanez, Robert (Diana) Ybanez all of Corpus Christi, 32 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, four sisters Maria C. Flores of Weslaco, Bertha Ovalle of Pasadena, Herminia Sierra of Houston, Gloria Flores of Brownsville, brothers Felipe Flores of Brownsville, Genaro Flores of Chicago, numerous nieces and nephews.
Carmen was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27 2011 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
