May 16, 1962 - October 10, 2026
With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Ailene Koffer, who left this world on October 10, 2026, at the age of 64. Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in remembering the life she lived, the adventures she embraced, and the countless memories she leaves behind.
Allene was a woman who loved an adventure, no matter where the road might lead. Whether she was riding roller coasters in her younger years, camping in the great outdoors, or simply setting off to see where life would take her, she carried a fearless curiosity and a spirit that welcomed the unexpected. She knew that some of life's best stories begin without a plan, and she had a gift for turning even ordinary days into memories worth keeping.
She brought her own unmistakable personality and humor to everyday life. Anyone who watched game shows with Ailene knew she was never merely watching television-she was fully involved, arguing with the contestants and challenging the answers right along with the show. Her opinions, expressions, and perfectly timed reactions could make a simple afternoon feel like an event. Those familiar moments, so distinctly Ailene, will continue to bring laughter and comfort through the tears.
Ailene also had a creative and caring side. Through crocheting, she shared her time, patience, and imagination, putting love into the things she made. Her creativity was one of the ways she connected with others, offering something thoughtful and personal from her own hands. She was also a passionate advocate for autism awareness, a cause that held a special place in her heart. Her advocacy reflected her compassion and her desire to help others understand, recognize, and support individuals with autism and the families who love them.
Above all, Ailene was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and family member. She cherished the lively moments shared with her great-nieces and great-nephews, especially when they played together-or fought together, whichever came first. Their noise, energy, and unmistakable family chaos were part of the moments she loved. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory, miss her presence, and carry pieces of her humor, courage, creativity, and love with them. Her life was shaped by adventure, laughter, meaningful causes, and the deep connections she shared with those around her.
Ailene is survived by her husband, Tony; her loving children, Christopher and Kaelyn; her father, Don; her brother, Allen, and his wife, Janet; her sisters, Darla, Samantha, and Audrey; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her close in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her son, Kyle; her mother, Carolyn; and her grandparents.
Though Ailene's journey on this earth has come to an end, the memories of her adventures, her unmistakable personality, her creativity, and her love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be remembered in the laughter shared around a television, the quiet moments spent creating something by hand, the stories told around a campsite, and every new adventure that reminds us of her. She will also be remembered in the courage to speak up for others, the joy found in family, and the humor that made her presence impossible to overlook.
Rest peacefully, Ailene. May your next adventure be beautiful, may the road ahead be endless, and may you always know how deeply you were loved. You will be missed more than words can say and remembered with love always.
Funeral and memorial service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
