She was born on December 9, 1924 in Realitos, Texas to the late Miguel and Maria Gonzales.
Carolina was a devout Catholic and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique A. Garza; son, Raul Longoria; daughter, Elma Gonzales and son-in-law, Alfred Lee Curry.
Carolina leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, three daughters, Mary Helen Curry, Elma Lee Gonzales (Harold) and Norma Rider (Ricky); sister-in-law, Carmen Longoria; sixteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
