My condolences to the family. Caroline contacted me after mother passed away in 2004. We lived next door to each other in Beeville, until I was 8. Although they were older, the Love kids played with us and tolerated us. When they moved to the country, my brother and I went to spend the night. We had a rat terrier puppy once and Mr. Love docked his tail! After we moved to Portland, in 1962, our cat traveled back to Beeville and the Loves kept him so as not to have it happen again. I didn't find this out until I was an adult! May she rest in peace.

I remember my Aunt Caroline with much love and gratitude: she taught me how to set the table, how to roller skate, how to say "CH" instead of "SH", how to play many card games, and so much more! She was fun, she was smart, she was a caring person who loved others easily. I was impressed with her leadership in her church and in her professional life as well as her innate talent to teach others. Although she had just turned 14 when I was born, she began then and continued for decades to share her wisdom with me. Recently, she wrote me pages and pages of directions for her wonderful stuffing, the family recipe I treasure now, along with my many memories of her. Much love to you now in heaven with your family, Aunt Caroline, and with our Travis. Hugs, prayers, and love to Judy, Andy, and Francine and their children/grandchildren.
