My sweet and silly Aunt Cathy!! She called me at 11PM asking if I could pick her up at midnight, drive her to Calallen to go to Walmart. I’m thinking , midnight? That’s pretty late, but if she needs to go it must be important. So I pick her up we go inside and YALL!! She just wanted to shop around!! I couldn’t stop laughing it was so hilarious. I was exhausted because ya know, at midnight I’d normally be sleeping but nope.. we were walking down the isles of Walmart just shopping and looking around. So we finally leave and she says “can we stop by whataburger pammy?” So of course we stopped. I’m so glad I picked her up that night (or morning) and just walked around Walmart cracking up. Oh how I’ll miss you. Give my grandma a hug for me Tia. I’ll see you again one day. I love you.

I remember once when gilbert had hart burn he said he was having a hart attack and that he was dieing. Mom kept telling him your not dieing it's just hart burn. We called the EMS people and they were trying so hard not to laugh because gilbert was dramatic on how he was dieing.

My Tía Cathy helped raise me as a child. She made life a little more fun. She’d let me stay up late, watching movies with her. We’d get into mischief together. She’d give me that sneaky, smirky sideways glance with a big smile on her face saying “Sshh Quitie...” as we pounce on Regina to tickle her or smash a cascarone over Gilbert’s head. She’d take us to the movies or the mall. She was always there when I’d come home from school. We were never bored with her. She included me as her own, and for that, I am forever grateful. She is missed and loved.
To Gilbert and Regina, I’m sorry you lost your mom. She loved y’all so very much.
Love y’all always,
Christina (AKA Quitie...)
