Cecilia Bosman, affectionately known as Cecil to many, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on December 22, 1950, in Corpus Christi, TX, Cecilia spent her life filling hearts and homes with warmth, love, and laughter. Her boisterous laughter was legendary; it was the kind that could fill a room and lift spirits, echoing with the joy of a life well-lived.
A proud wife, mother and grandmother Cecilia's greatest achievements were her children, and she cherished every moment of motherhood. She is survived by her loving husband, James Bosman, her daughters, Katherine, Veronica, Gina, and Debra; grandchildren, Valentine, Ashlyn, Jordan, William and James; great grandchildren, Markus, Penelope and Olyvia. Her beloved son, Michael, predeceased her, as did her parents, Amelia Perez and Guadalupe de los Santos.
Cecilia’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her family to the beautiful garden she curated and tended with care and love. Fruits, vegetables, roses, roses, and more roses were always a sight to treasure. Cecilia's kitchen was another place where her magic thrived. Known for her culinary skills, she delighted in cooking and baking for any occasion. Her meals were more than food; they were an expression of love, served with a side of her infectious laughter and a good story or two.
A moderately religious woman, Cecilia’s faith in Christianity was a guiding force in her life, providing her strength and solace. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in celebrating her life. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 9:30 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, followed by a committal service at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
As we gather to honor Cecilia's memory, let us remember her for the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the legacy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
