Charlsie Wood Dixon

Charlsie was born in Somerton, Arizona on January 17, 1925, and spent her childhood and a great number of her adult years as a resident of Weatherford, Texas.

She is survived by her four children; Mike (Jimmie Nell) Dixon, Pat (Marie) Dixon and Jim Dixon of Corpus Christi, and Betty Dixon of San Antonio, Texas; her four grandchildren, Andrea (Harris) Phillips, Lori (Bryan) Holland, Kevin (Janet) Dixon and Caitlin Dixon, and her five great grandchildren; Thomas Holland, Hunter Holland, Haylee Higgins, Zachariah Higgins and Emma Dixon. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy (Richard) Howard and her extended family: Angela, Brady, Jack and Ben Anders; and Emily, Mark, Matthew and Anna Leber.

Charlsie was a devoted mother who provided love and support for her family. She was happiest spending time with her family, enjoying the simple things in life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will take place at 3:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
