Obituary of Cirilo H. Alvarado
Cirilo H Alvarado, a Veteran of the United States Army with a tour of WWII, entered into Eternal rest on Saturday July 30, 2022 with his daughter and a niece by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents Sotero and Rosa Alvarado; wife of 55 ½ years, Trinidad S Alvarado; two sons, Homer ((Delilah), (Lucy)) Alvarado, and Oscar (Christina) Alvarado Avila; siblings, Romulo (Josie) Alvarado, Gilberto (Victoria) Alvarado, Julia (David) Barrientes and Janie (Ricardo) Carmona, and Simona Alvarado. He is survived by his children. Arturo (Estella) Alvarado, Bertha A Garcia (Albert Gutierrez), Rolando Alvarado, and Ernest (Maribel) Alvarado; sister-in-law, Josie Alvarado; daughters-in-law, Lucy Alvarado and Christina Avila; sister, Remedios Alvarado; along with 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. He worked for Heldenfels Bros. Construction as a steel tier for 32 years before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed spending time in his garage building things and going fishing. Pallbearers are Adrian Alvarado, Raymond Alvarado, Roy Garcia Jr., Matthew Garcia, Alex Alvarado and Homar Alvarado Thank you to Jessie Trevino and the staff from New Century Hospice for making his transition as comfortable as possible, and to Lynette and Anthony at Memory Gardens. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9th at 5pm. A Holy Rosary will be that same evening at 7pm at Memory Gardens Old Brownsville Rd. with Chapel Service on Wednesday, August 10th at 10am with the committal service to follow at 11am.
