Ran into Belinda Banda at Sandra Salinas funeral service this evening and she told me about Clara Cantu. I did not realize her death was just a few days ago. My condolences to her husband and children. She was a very quiet and kind person but she spoke up when she needed to and everyone listened. Loved working with her. May she Rest In Peace.

I am so very sorry to hear about our sweet friend’s passing. Clara was full of life. She was also a wonderful teacher!, friend, and mother. I had the privilege to work with Clara for many years!

This pandemic is hitting so close to home and so sick of it! Clara will be missed so much from many of us at the Head Start Program.

My deepest condolences to her husband and daughter’s as well as the rest of her family. 😞🥺 😢

My deepest condolences to the Cantu family. So many memories with Clara! From working as her assistant, Bunco and parties.
She took me under her wing and loved lecturing me. I will never forget how picky she was about her Door and Bulletin board decorations. We always had our opinions but at the end I ended up changing it all since she was the chief of the classroom! She was the sweetest and it was hard for me to say my goodbyes when I took another career path. You will be missed! RIP Mrs. Cantu..

Mrs. Cantu was a very caring person. She would always try to help you if you needed help at work. We worked together at Headstart and she was a very quiet person, she would do her job and not bother anyone . She enjoy working with her co-worker. She loved working with kids. May you rest in peace. Amen

My condolences to Martin and the girls. I worked with your wife/mom at Headstart several yrs ago and she was my daughter’s teacher. Clara was an amazing person, a great teacher and she was so sweet. We also played Bunco together for yrs and we had so much fun playing along with all our other Headstart girls! I get to keep these wonderful memories of you Clara! It saddens me that you are no longer here but this is not goodbye this is temporary for until we meet again
