Clayton “Stubby” Stubblefield, born September 29, 1921 in Eufaula, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at the age of 97.

He was a Marine Corp veteran and served proudly in WW II from 1940-1945. In 1951, he and his beloved wife, Margaret, moved to Corpus Christi. Mr. Stubblefield retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1983. He is survived by his son, Clay Stubblefield.

Visitation will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at Seaside Memorial Park on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:00 am with interment to follow.
