Clemencia G. DeLeon, age 81, passed away on March 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Anastacio “Tacho” DeLeon, first husband Frank R. Gallardo and parents Pedro and Luisa V. Gonzalez. She was employed by Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church as an office aide and with Childcare (Latchkey) for 30 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her full time caretaker’s grandson, John David “J.D.” and Beatriz Valdez, her children, Teresa (Alfredo) Rodriguez, Frank (Rebecca) Gallardo, Angela (George) Gomez, David Gallardo all of Corpus Christi, TX; brothers, Jose Reyes Gonzalez of Gregory, TX, and Ricardo Gonzalez; sisters, Evangelina Mendez, Raquel Pineda, and Soila Valdez of Corpus Christi, TX; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with cremation to follow.
