

Clotilde graduated from Edcouch-Elsa High School in 1952 and retired from Champlin Refinery (CITGO Refinery Network) as a Computer Operator. She met the love of life, Manuel Arispe, Sr, in Edcouch, Texas, and married on November 29, 1955, for 64 years before his passing on September 29, 2020.
Clotilde was a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved dancing (don’t forget the Corona with lime), traveling, gambling, gardening, telling stories to her family, most of all, spending time celebrating life with both family and friends. She was greatly loved and will sincerely be missed for that beautiful smile, positive approach to life, kind hearted soul, stern mentorship, commitment to the Catholic faith and devotion to our family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Arispe, Sr.; sisters, Angelita P. Salinas, Antonia P. Guerrero; brothers, Ranulfo Portales, Norberto Portales, Amando G. Portales and Manuel Portales.
She will be deeply missed by her children: Manuel (Sandra) Arispe Jr., Daniel (Jerrica) Arispe, Estella (Joe) Narvaez; grandchildren: Ruben (Aundrea), Jason, Natalie (Cal), Sabrina (Randy), Jeremiah, David, Amanda (Jon), Anthony (Jamie), David (Connie), Guile, Gary and 14 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Clotilde will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A vigil service and rosary will occur Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A mass of christian burial will be recited at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. Interment at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 Ih 37 Access Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410.
