He is preceded in death by his loving wife Rose Mary Martin and his daughter, Mary Martin Cheatham.
Coy Martin was a courageous WWII Navy veteran who fought during the Pearl Harbor War and The Battle of Iwo Jima.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Jerral Martin and daughter, Pamela Kins; grandchildren, Laura Lea Reedy, Donald Gene Cheatham, Patricia Jean Cheatham, David Martin, Timothy Martin and Kimberly Kins. He also leaves behind three great-grandchildren and one sister, Sally Steel.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne, on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 4:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 6:00 pm that same evening. A Graveside Service will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Park on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 9:30 am.
