Daniel “Danny” Castro, passed away on April 10, 2019. He was 58. Daniel was born on November 8, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Moises Castro, Sr. and Manuela (Herrera) Castro.

“Danny,” as he was called, attended Furman Elementary, Wynn Seale Middle School and Ray High School. He loved to sing and was always ready to take in a stray cat or dog to take care of. Our brother was the one who always made everyone laugh and always had the last word. Mostly because he was the only one that could get away with it.

He was preceded in death by his father, Moises Castro, Sr. and his grandparents: Andres and Paul Herrera and Isaias and Josefa Castro. He is survived by his Mother, Manuela Castro; sisters: Tina Vasquez (David), Beatrice Elizalde, Maria Castro, Gloria Castro, Elizabeth Lopez (Ventura) and Isabell Salinas (David); all of Corpus Christi, Texas. Brothers: Moises Castro, Jr. (Rose Mary) and John David Castro; both of Corpus Christi, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that loved him very much.

Danny will forever be missed by his loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
