

With deep love, We announce the passing of Daniel Rodriguez. He entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on May 13, 2026 at the age of 62. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 10, 1963 to parents Maria Guerrero Rodriguez and Manuel Tellez Rodriguez.
Dan was a man with a big heart, a strong work ethic, and a love for life that was felt by everyone who knew him. His legacy will continue with his daughter, Kimberly Marie Soliz; siblings, Janie Ybarra (Roberto), Mary R. Sifuentes (Gilbert), and Angelica Rodriguez; grandchildren, Adelyna and Jordan Cueva. Special friends Lorie, Abigail Jo, and Johnny Joe Candelaria, & Nathan Salazar; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends
Daniel was devoted father, grandpa and friend. Always there to offer guidance , love and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought joy to those around him. Daniel began working at the young age of 13 learning early, the value of hard work and responsibility. He built a career as a drywall finisher, a trade he took pride in and dedicated himself to for many years. His skill and determination often led him to opportunities outside of Corpus Christi, where he found great success through his work. He was a man who loved to work and enjoyed visiting new places, always ready for the next adventure.
Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes, offering him both peace and joy, especially when shared with friends and family. He had a deep and unconditional love for his daughter, treating her as his own and always showing up with support, care, and guidance, because for Daniel, family was built through love, not titles. He formed deep friendships his life, surrounding himself with a close-knit and unforgettable group of friends. They shared laughter, stories, and countless adventures together, and he would do anything for the people he cared about.
Dan will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Maria and Manuel Rodriguez; and siblings, Diana Rodriguez and Manuel Rodriguez Jr. (Cynthia).
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405, on June 5, 2026, beginning at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on June 5, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX, on June 5, 2026, beginning at 2:30 pm.
