David was a High School graduate of Incarnate Word Academy. He went on to have a career in the Medical supply business with AA Medical, United Medical and Ace Medical. He will be remembered for his love of working in the yard and fishing on the coast. David had a passion for helping the elderly and was a loving son, and brother.
David was a Loving son and a great provider to his parents as well as to his brothers and sisters. Everyone he cared about came first before himself. All his friends would say he was a great young man to be around and always so very helpful to all. His laughter and smile affected everyone. He worked in the Medical Supply business for over 42 years to where he was able to own and operate ACE Medical Supply in Houston for many years. He was very generous to his customers and would often give away supplies to them at no charge.
He loved the outdoors, cooking and having fun at the casinos as well as visiting and spending family time especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. He loved Kimberly, Jennifer and Robert Christopher whom he considered as his children and Christopher Wayne (Bam-Bam) as his grandson. David will be missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his father, Javier R. Andrade and sisters, Rose Narvaez, Mary Helen Andrade, Blanche A. Soliz, Leticia Lopez; and half brother, Mike Andre.
David leaves his loving memories to his mother, Filomena B. Andrade; sisters, Mary Lou A. Cruz (Robert), Alice Atkinson (Rick); brother, Harvey Andrade; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Cruz Sanchez (Erik), Jennifer Napier (Kevin), Robert C. Cruz (Liz); great nephew, Christopher Wayne (Bam-Bam) Cruz; he also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers will be, Robert Cruz, Robert Christopher Cruz, David Gomez, Robert Gonzalez, Andrew Riley and Alex Aldape. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christopher Wayne Cruz, Elizabeth Cruz, and Mary Lou Cruz.
Family will receive friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM. There will be a Celebration of Life at the parish hall of Our Lady of Perpetual Help immediately following the Funeral Mass.
