David Casiano

David Casiano, born June 15, 1965 was called to Heaven on Monday May 25, 2015. David was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be remembered for his great love of family and friends and his service to others. Up to his last ambulatory days, he was visiting people in the hospital, encouraging them to soldier on with hope. Never one to be idle, he cleaned up his yard before his last hospitalization. Throughout the duration of his illness, he rarely missed a day of driving his wife wherever she needed to go, or gave up an opportunity to pick up his grandchildren from school or take his friends for their medical treatment. Being of service was his calling. His greatest joy was spending time with family and fishing every chance he could. He will be dearly missed.

He was welcomed to heaven by his father, Anunsacion Casiano, mother, Maria Arroyos Casiano, brother, Miguel Casiano and other relatives who preceded him to eternal life . He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Amparo Casiano; four sons David Garza, Ernest (Claudia) Garza, Raul Garza and Randy (Adrianna) Garza; ten grandchildren David Jr., Patrick, Ernest Jr., Naudia, Edward, Raul Jr., Mark, Randy Jr., Ryan and Rodney Garza; three sisters, Lucy (Amado) Gonzales, Darita (Pio) Godinez, Adela Casiano; five brothers, Louis (Gloria) Casiano, Daniel (Meri) Casiano, Steven (Gloria) Casiano, Frank (Tanya) Casiano, and Andy Casiano; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives who loved him dearly.

Throughout his illness, he kept saying, "Don't worry about me, God is by my side" and he slipped away peacefully.

Pallbearers will be David Garza, Ernesto Garza, Raul Garza, Randy Garza, Mickey M. Casiano and Jacob Casiano. Honorary pallbearers will be Naudia Garza, David Garza Jr. and Mark Anthony Garza.

Viewing will be at Calvary Chapel of the Coastlands, 3001 Rodd Field, on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 am followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Entombment will take place on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
