David was a great person who was a happy man and filled with a laughter that was contagious.
He served his country in the United States Army, where he played the trombone in the Army Band. David also served his community as a police officer for over 20 years with CCPD. He later became a Fraud Investigator with the Office of the Inspector General. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a #1 Notre Dame fan.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Castillo and his daughter, Candace Castillo; also survived by his loving family, friends and colleagues.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Service held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
