David Peña was known and loved by many.
He raced at CC Speedway with his brothers and was a huge supporter of the CC Ice Rays. David loved the San Antonio Spurs. Some may remember him from bike rallies and riding his Harley all over town. In his most recent years, he was very involved in the youth baseball community in the city with his youngest son. Also, as the owner of Pro-Tech Automotive for over 25 years, he was many peoples’ favorite mechanic.
To know David is to love him. He extended kindness to each person he interacted with, and made an impression with every encounter. David would go to great lengths to make the people he cared about happy.
His cheerful personality lead to many joyous moments, often being referred to as ‘the life of the party’. Throughout his lifetime he would carry out impromptu performances just to make others laugh and smile.
David approached every situation with great enthusiasm and valued life experiences. He enjoyed various hobbies such as collecting, racing, sports, music, movies, gaming, and motorcycles, etc.
Above all, David enjoyed time spent with his loved ones. He championed every milestone and success no matter how small, for the people in his life. His love was unconditional.
We all felt his love, and pray we forever feel his presence.
