He graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1984 and the University Of Houston College Of Pharmacy in 1991. While at U of H David was a member of Phi Delta Chi fraternity. David was a natural athlete excelling at football and baseball while growing up. He preferred to be doing anything outdoors.
On November 2, 1996, David married Stacey Trowbridge and together they raised three beautiful daughters, Alexis (Keegan), Alyssa (Jeffrey) and Rylee. He also had a granddaughter, Lylee, which he adored. Although they were no longer married, David and Stacey remained very close until his passing.
His girls were his world. No matter which one walked in his face lit up.
David is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, his father-in-law, Paul Trowbridge, sister-in-law, Kimberly Ysasi, and brother-in-law, Craig Padilla.
Survivors include sister, Cynthia (Mickey) Horan, his brother Carlos and his children, Carley and Nicholas. Mother-in-law, Adore Trowbridge, sister-in-law, Wendy Padilla and her children, Kayla (Mike), Kyle (Amanda) and Cody. David is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
David fought a long and courageous battle with ALS, but managed to smile through all the tough times. The family wishes to thank the special people who surrounded David and helped fill his life with love and laughter.
A special thanks to Mark Carter, Aliya Rojas, Tyler McLaughlin and Carol McLaughlin for providing the care he needed for him to continue doing what he loved – taking care of babies at Bay Area Hospital NICU.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the Chapel.
