Delfina Martinez

Delfina Martinez, 95 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed on Thursday July 16,2026.

Delfina was born to Jose D. Martinez and Juana Martinez November 8, 1930 in Chapman Ranch, Texas. She married her beloved husband Antonio A. Martinez in 1943, and they lived in Corpus Christi, Texas; together they raised seven children.

She is survived by children: Yolanda Cantù (Widow), Diana Gonzalez (widow ), Antonio Martinez Jr. (Lydia) and Beatrice Castro (Widow). She also leaves to cherish in her memory 21 Grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Delfina worked as a Seamstress for many years. Above all, she was the matriarch of the the family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by All.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, US, on July 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the Rosary at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, US, on July 22, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales St, Corpus Christi, TX 78416, US, on July 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by Committal at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, US, on July 23, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.

“Ama” Delfina’s warmth, kindness and her compassion will remain at the heart of our family for generations to come.
