Delia R. Garza

Our mother will be deeply missed by her loved ones and friends. No one will be able to fill the void she left behind. She was young at heart. She enjoyed gambling trips and going to the movies. She always lent a helping hand to those who needed her. She was a devout catholic and a member of Christ the King Altar Society and their Spanish Choir. She was also a member of the Guadalupanas of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Florentino and Ladislada Reyna; husband of 39 years, Joe T. Garza; son, Jimmy Garza and sister, Lupe Escamilla.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Joyce (Freddy) Rodriguez and Jeannette Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jesse (Yolanda) Garza of Houston, Texas and Robert (Elva) Gonzales of Victoria, Texas; grandchildren, Frances (Hector) Revilla, Ricky (Lulu) Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Jessica (Joe) Vierra of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Alfredo, Angelica, Alejandro, Aidan, Blake, Calix and Madelyn, brother, Ramon (Josie) Castillo; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the staff at Cimmaron Place, Mirador Skilled Nursing, Bay Area Hospital, Kindred Hospital, ICU Spohn Hospital; most of all the Nurses on Wheels for all their care and attention given to our mother.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel, a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery
