Dennis K. Jantz was a wonderful dad for me and my other brothers. He loved to read, I would sometimes watch Saturday Night Football with him, I would even show him these little Geometry Dash levels I made. He would even go to the beach! But now was his time to go. But don't worry, he will always be watching, from the clouds.

Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Dennis, I have known Tim for years. I believe that as sons, a great part of what we become are because of our fathers. Through my years of getting to know the man Tim is and from reading Memories posted here, it’s clear how Dennis impacted the lives of so many. Please know that your family is in our thoughts at this most difficult of times.

There are no words of comfort that I have for Cynthia Jantz and her family. They cared for my children (from CPS) and they treated these children as their own children. They loved them as their own. I picture Alan, Ozzie and Star greeting Mr. Jantz and loving on him. Knowing that they are in Heaven celebrating with out any hurt or struggles. Be assured, Mrs. Jantz that I am praying for comfort during this delicate time of grief.

At A World for Children we have known Dennis and Cynthia for close to 15 years and have always been amazed with their compassion and love for special needs children. Their unselfish devotion to their kids is unsurpassed. In the past 15 years they have cared for close to 26 special needs and primary medical needs children and adopted several. We journeyed with them when they adopted and also when they experienced the tragic loss of children with medical conditions and yet through their incessant care extended the lives of those children. The nature of this work involves tremendous sacrifice; yet both Cynthia and Dennis endured many personal hardships for the sake of the children. Their joint love and care for these children comes from a deep spiritual commitment and purpose. Dennis showed us what it meant to be selfless and devoted to a high purpose. We will miss you but we will never forget the example you left for all of us.

I had the honor and pleasure of being but a footprint in the earthly life that Dennis & Cynthia Jantz shared.

Dennis Jantz has left a legacy in which he shared his life, family, heart, experience, knowledge and home with so many special children and many others. He will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of his family and all who were blessed to be a part of
their lives.

Our profound prayers of peace and strength are sent to the Jantz family during this difficult time.

Rest in heavenly peace.

I worked with Dennis and Cynthia at AWFC as their case worker for foster children and it never ceased to amaze me how caring and loving their home was for the children that came j to their home.

Dennis and Cynthia were always available to meet and open their home up for a child in need.

RIP Dennis and take care of Jesse πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™
