Dennis Lee Payne, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 12th, 2026. Born on June 27th, 1950 in Weslaco, Texas to Marvin Lee Payne and Laura Elaine Wilson (Hall). Dennis grew up with a passion for cars and Oklahoma football. He graduated from Texas A&I University in 1974 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He married Deborah Payne (Green) on August 31st, 1974. Dennis went on to pursue a career with Valero Refining Company for 35 years, becoming Plant Manager. Together, Dennis and Debbie built a life, and Derek Lee Payne was born in 1981.
Dennis is survived by Deborah Payne (wife), and Derek Lee Payne (Kendra). Grandchildren, Julie, Cooper, Aubrey, and Jack. He is preceded in death by Laura Elaine Wilson and Marvin Lee Payne.
