I'll never forget helping Derek with his Miata, he was so frustrated with that car but so passionate about getting it right.  
I'll never forget the highschool skater bum days, Derek and I used to NOT get along, but slowly we became friends after we sized each other up.  I think we both annoyed each other and that made our friendship interesting...we were both pretty goofy. I remember Derek always trying his best to find out what he wanted to do, he wore his heart and his opinions on his sleeve, and we would chat about some crazy stuff. Even though life got busy ..adulthood..etc.. we would talk about random stuff and check in with each other from time to time. Derek, I miss you already. May God rest your soul, and may your memory and good virtues be eternal. I will always have your back.

Derek and Seth at Panjo's! So many memories of these two kids growing up together, from bikes on the block to paintball to just chilling with each other playing video games. Derek will always live in our hearts.

Derek rode BMX with us for part of a season. He had talent. He also had character. It seemed his interests moved elsewhere as it does with most teenagers. We have good memories of him.

I was so happy to see Joey, Derek, and Ryan make it out to Coltens wedding. It was a nice few days of relaxation for Joey and Derek

Grandpa took us out deep sea fishing for the day. The boys loved fishing with their uncles

Derek got to visit us in California and we took him to the BMX track. He did such a great job and loved it!

We took the boat out & watched the fireworks from the ski canals.

Maverick had come back from Marine Basic Training and we all got together to celebrate his birthday.
