Domingo graduated from Calallen High School. He was married to Alicia M. Mata on November 13, 1959. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for O.N. Stevens Water Plant. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and flea market finds.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alicia M. Mata; his children: Eddie Mata (Mary Alice), David Mata (Dora Leal, deceased), Jackie M. Barnett (David Barnett) and Lee Mata; his grandchildren; David R. Mata Jr., Desiree N. Mata, Daisy D. Mata, Aaron M. Barnett, and Devyn A Mata; and his great-grandson, Forrest Robert Le Blanc. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories 9 brothers and sisters (2 precede him in death).
A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cage Mills Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Cage Mills Funeral Home. Interment will be at Robstown Memorial Park.
