

Dora Baldera Cavazos age 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 to love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. She was born on April 5, 1932 in Charco, Texas to Tranquilino and Guadalupe Baldera who preceded her in death.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Ygnacio G. Cavazos, and oldest son, Ruben Cavazos and most recently her grandson, Ruben Cavazos, Jr. Also, preceding her in death are three brothers, Ernesto, Natividad and Joe Baldera; one sister, Maria Vasquez.
Mom was a devoted catholic and a servant of God all her life. She did her Crusillo at an early age to strength her faith in our Lord. She later became a Guadalupana, which she found joy in getting together with her friends and praying for others. She passes on her strong faith in God to her precious children.
United in love she leaves behind her precious children; Joe (Rose) Cavazos of Robstown, Texas, Sylvia (Juan) Cisneros of Houston, Texas, Odilia (Manuel) Moreno, Robert (Gloria) Cavazos, Ramiro (Adela) Cavazos, Rosie (Alfredo) Villarreal all of Corpus Christi, Texas. Her pride and joy grandchildren, Ruby Ann, Sylvia Ann, Graciela, Dora Lee, John Vincent, Juan Antonio, Bobbie Jo, Robert, Jr., Janice, Ashley Marie, Hilda Marie, Amanda and Alfredo, Jr. She also had twenty-eight great grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren. She also had two sisters, Rosa Navarro of Pt. Lavaca, Texas and Eloisa Garcia of San Marcos, Texas and two brothers, Pete and John Baldera of Pt. Lavaca, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
