Douglas Wayne Tischler

Douglas is preceded in death by his father, Fred Tischler and his nephew, Michael Tischler Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Tischler; his wife, Becky; sons, Stephen Douglas and Ryan Alan; sister, Barbara Whidden and his brother, Michael Tischler as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

His work career included 25 years for the Klepac family farm, 5 years at Steamatic of Corpus Christi and 5 years for the Boll Weevil Eradicaton Program. He also spent a few years with FastTrax in Corpus Christi. Douglas especially enjoyed the farm and doing his part in the Boll Weevil Eradication Program.

Douglas will always be remembered for his love of family, his kind caring heart, his wit and his big laugh that warmed our hearts. Much like his father, he was always good at making us laugh and quick with a good joke. He also loved to cook and turned out delicious meals for family and friends. Many good memories that we will treasure.

Graveside Service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Klepac, William Klepac and Benjamin Klepac.
