She leaves behind with broken hearts, her mother, one brother, three sisters, nine nieces and nephews, 11 great-nieces and nephews, two great-great niece and nephew and a god sister.
Lee was born to Paul and Ramona G. Morin Sr. on August 18, 1954. She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1973, where she was a proud member of the Buccaneer Band. She continued on to be an alumni band member, she loved her Buc Band.
Lee’s career began while still in High School in 1972 as a Data Entry Specialist for Corpus Christi Army Depot. She was so proud of her job, as it was a high clearance level position. In 1990, she transferred to Kelly Air Force Base, where she retired after 32 years in civil service. Lee moved back to Corpus Christi to be with her mother after her father’s death.
Lee was devoted to her Catholic faith and her church, Our Lady of Guadalupe. She spent so much of her time at church her family often teased her to “just move in there.” She was so devoted to her faith that she made sure her nieces and nephews received their Sacraments. Never refusing anyone’s request to be their child’s God Mother, she had over 30 Godchildren. She never said “no” to anyone in need and would not hesitate to give her last penny.
Lee loved reading spending countless hours at the kitchen table eating her oranges; she did not like orange juice however. Her passion was making rosaries by hand, enjoying seeing the expression on the receiver’s face.
“My daughter will be greatly missed by myself, her siblings and friends. We will treasure the time we shared and the love and bond we had and will always have.”
