Elida was the mother of six children. Despite her large family she always made time for everyone. She always provided support and love for her family. She and her husband Pablo worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their children. She would proudly talk about all six of her children's accomplishments and achievements.
Elida G. Florez was predeceased in death by her husband of 42 years Pablo H. Florez and by her son Earl C. Florez.
She is survived by her five children Richard Florez, Homer Florez, Rowland Florez, Melinda Florez, and Sylvia Cantu. As well as 21 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.
