She was preceded in death by her mother Delia P. Barrientes and her sister Irene Barrientes.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Alex Vega of 21 years; her sons Alex Vega, Jr. and Christopher Vega. She is also survived by her father Paul Barrientes and Olivia, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Elizabeth worked at Sams Club for many years. She was the greatest wife, mother, aunt, and friend a person could have. She was loved by everyone who knew her.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 10:00 am and Funeraria del Angel Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
