Eloy H. Figueroa

Eloy H. Figueroa, 68, passed away Friday, December 4, 2009, with his loving family by his side. He worked for PPG Industries and was a truck driver for many years, which he enjoyed. He later went on to work at C.C.A.D. until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Eva Figueroa, and one sister, Esther F. Erebia.Eloy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Josephine S. Figueroa, of Corpus Christi, Texas; three daughters, Leticia F. (Raul) Hernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Norma J. F. (Angel) Gonzalez of Katy, Texas, and Rachel F. (Casiano III) Gonzales; four grandchildren, David E. Gonzalez, Alexzandra R. Gonzalez, both of Katy, Texas, Michael A. Gonzales and Arlene A. Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, Toribio H. Figueroa and Ricardo H. Figueroa; three sisters, Angelina F. Garcia, Irma F. Lazo and Olga H. Figueroa, all of Corpus Christi, Texas. Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, December 6, 2009, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 7, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
