Elva Hinojosa Charles, 78, was called to heaven on July 18, 2020.

She was born July 28, 1941 to Rodolfo Hinojosa Sr. and Frances Hinojosa in Rio Grande, TX. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Santos L Charles Sr.; her parents, Rodolfo Hinojosa Sr. and Frances Hinojosa; sister, Fita De Leon, and brother, Juventino Hinojosa.

She is survived by daughter, Elisa (Larry) Garza; sons, Santos Charles Jr., David Charles, Arnold (Michelle) Charles, and Anthony Charles of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mante (Gil) Rodriguez; one brother, Rodolfo Hinojosa Jr., and sister-in-law, Lupe Hinojosa of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are being rendered by Funeraria del Angel – Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road. Due to Covid restrictions, please contact the family for service information.
