Elvira Guzman Magallan

Elvira Guzman Magallan, Corpus Christi, TX. Elvira Magallan 91, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away at 12:53 AM on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Angel Bright Hospice, Inc. She was born December 25, 1931 in Violet, Texas, to Celestino and Francesca Guzman. She married Juan Magallan on November 6, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX. Juan preceded her in death on January 18, 2003.

Elvira has 6 surviving children: Barbara (Ruddie) Avalos, John Magallan, Arthur Magallan, Ernest Magallan, Margarite (Gary) Stanford, and Alma (Edward) Silman; one surviving sister, Elida Salinas. She has nine grandchildren, Aaron, Kevin (Elizabeth), Bryan, Kayla (Anthony), Isabel (Drew), Garrett, Megan, Noah, and Jonah (Sol). And six great-grandchildren; Ellie, Evelyn, Dylan, Braydon, Matthew, and Nicolas.

A public visitation for Elvira will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

We would like to thank Angel Bright Hospice, Inc for their love and care through the end of our mother’s journey. Our mother (grandmother/ great-grandmother) will be greatly missed.
