She was a woman of deep faith, known by all who loved her for her unwavering prayers. If you needed comfort, strength, or hope, you called her—and she prayed. So many of us would call her asking for prayer, and later call her back just to say, “Thank you, Grandma.” That was who she was—always lifting others up, always putting her family before herself.
She found joy in the simple things in life—especially her Pepsi (which she would sometimes call a Coke), a little habit that always made us smile. Her laughter, her warmth, and her comforting presence will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Cecilio Gomez; her daughter, Saint Jane Linan (Homer); and her cherished grandchildren: Jason Villegas (Kim), Ashley Adame (Ben), and Homer Taylor Linan (Amanda), Jayla Villegas (Andrew). She was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy.
She is preceded in death by her son, Roland Villegas, and her mother, Virginia Pereida, along with her siblings Lydia, Mary, Cris, Vicky, and Raymond.
Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family will live on in all of us. We will carry her prayers in our hearts forever.
