I was Emma’s third grade teacher. Emma was such a bright student filled with optimism and love.
We shared the same first name, so I’d call us M&M but spelled Em & Em. ❤️
That little girl took a hold of my heart strings and never let them go. I’ll always remember her.
Until we see each other again.....xoxo
Love ,
Mrs Vera❤️

To Emma's family: I remember your little girl as bright, intelligent, and happy going. One day she was in my office while mom was in a meeting, and she started singing Christmas songs. She knew every word and her beautiful voice I will not forget. I am missing her. My condolences to all Emma's family in this time of sorrow.

Sweet girl! I’m really going to miss you!! Even when you were full of fears and anxiety, you showed us how to face them with a strength and braveness that even the big kids don’t have. You amazed me everyday with your independence. We love you! And are comforted by knowing you are no longer in pain or scared of what’s to come next. To your family, my most sincere and heartfelt condolences. You will forever be a part of our Driscoll family. Please let us know how we can support you during this difficult time.

One of my favorite patients of all time! Such a tough kid, quiet, strong, and beautiful. Emma could always muster a smile, even when things weren’t going so well. Amazing loving family, too. She was a patient that taught me how to be a better doctor, a better human being. I will miss her.
